About Us

IDAA is a 3D architectural visualization studio producing photorealistic renders and animations for architects, developers, and interior designers working at an international level.

Founded in 2023 by Nikos Mathioudakis, an architect with over ten years of experience in architectural visualization, IDAA was built on one clear premise: that the technical and the artistic should never be in tension. Every project we take on reflects that belief, from the first reference image to the final deliverable.

Our name comes from Mount Ida, Psiloritis, the highest peak in Crete. The IDAA identity draws from Linear A and B, the ancient Cretan scripts developed to record and translate complex systems into readable form. We do something similar: take the precise technical language of blueprints and CAD files and turn them into something a client, an investor, or a competition jury can actually feel.

We work on international projects across Europe and beyond. What those collaborations have taught us is that the difference between a competent render and one that does real commercial work comes down to things no brief explicitly asks for. How light behaves in a specific space at a specific time of day. How a material reads at scale. Whether the composition earns its moment of stillness.

We are a studio, not a pipeline. The work reflects that.
